New West - Sleeping Lady
New West is a jazz trio and their new album, Sleeping Lady, is entirely composed of music from acoustic guitars. A couple of the tracks feature a female vocalist, but the majority of the album is instrumental. New West’s last album featured both acoustic and electric guitars (and an additional band member) so their new sound is a bit different than what has come before.

Elizabeth & The Catapult - Taller Children
Elizabeth & The Catapult is a New York band comprised of Elizabeth Ziman, Danny Molad and Peter Lalish and they play a mixture of indie, folk rock, jazz and baroque pop. Taller Children is their debut album and it’s apparently been available on iTunes since Cinco de Mayo…although hard copies were not available until over a month later on the ninth of June.

Eleni Mandell - Artificial Fire
Eleni Mandell doesn’t like to confine herself to just one genre and she is influenced by a wide range of styles, from rock to jazz and even country. On Artificial Fire she has increased the tempo and focused more on the rock, but the other influences are still there.
