Top 5 Electronic Albums of 2009
My exposure to good electronic music experienced a significant decline sometime at the beginning of the decade, but it seems like things are starting to pick up a bit. Two of the albums on this list are technically good enough to make the main top 10 albums of 2009, but “Electronic” is an important subgenre that should have its own list.

Best Song of May 2009
There were seven songs to choose from for the month of May and several of them were from albums that just weren’t all that great as a whole. “Number with No Name” by Ben Harper and Relentless7, “They Done Wrong / We Done Wrong” by White Rabbits and “Welcome to England” by Tori Amos all fall into this category.

IAMX - Kingdom of Welcome Addiction
Becoming X, the first album from the British trip-hop group Sneaker Pimps, featured Kelli Dayton on vocals (she now releases music under the name Kelli Ali), but the subsequent two albums went in a darker direction and founding member Chris Corner took over the singing duties.
