Piranha 3D
Piranha 3D is the second remake of the 1978 B-Movie, Piranha, which was originally a parody of Jaws. The remake of a B-Movie can’t hope to be anything more than a glorified B-Movie and director Alexandre Aja gets it. He embraces the cheesiness inherent in this film and decides to have fun with it instead.

Predators
Predators is the second direct sequel to the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger film Predator, but it’s the fifth movie to feature the alien hunters. Sadly – even though the creatures have been featured in (dozens of games, almost two dozen comic book storylines and) multiple movies – the original film is the highlight of the franchise.

Finally, someone has created a film to answer the age-old question: would you still have sex that hot girl if she were a zombie? As it turns out… wait, what? That’s not an age-old question? …Seriously? …Are you sure? Well, if this movie wasn’t created in order to answer a meaningful and important question then it must be some sort of cruel joke.

The Strangers
The Strangers takes a while to get started, but viewers that aren’t expecting anything groundbreaking might encounter a few worthwhile moments with just a little patience. The story unfolds somewhere between ‘sloth’ and ‘glacier’ on the speed scale and instead of real characterization we get to piece together the events of the evening that occurred before we meet the main characters.
