EPs are not the ideal format to release music when your fans have been waiting to hear new music from you for years. They are, however, a great way for a band to get some music out into the world, to supplement an already released album or to preview an upcoming album.

DJ Food - One Man's Weird Is Another Man's World
The DJ Food project was conceived as a way to provide disc jockeys with musical sustenance (“food for DJs”) by the members of Coldcut, Jonathan More and Matt Black. It was initially a collective studio project and more than half a dozen people have been involved over the years, but it has been a solo effort headed by Strictly Kev since 2002.

Top 3 EPs of 2008
Some bands like to release EPs, but they don’t seem to be very popular. I’m not sure why this is because they seem to be an almost perfect length.
