Hush is the third studio album from Asobi Seksu, a New York band frequently labeled as either dream pop or shoegaze. In the bio on their website they claim that, in an effort to distance themselves from comparisons to shoegaze bands, they have focused more on the pop aspect of their music.

Warpaint - Exquisite Corpse
The tubes of the intarwebz do not contain very much information about Warpaint. They are an unsigned band from California consisting of three girls and a guy that recently self-released a five song EP called Exquisite Corpse. The girls play the bass and two guitars and they all contribute to the vocals while the guy plays the drums.

Miranda Lee Richards - Light of X
Miranda Lee Richards learned to play guitar from Kirk Hammett of Metallica, but the stuff that she plays is nothing like Metallica. Her music has a dreamy quality with slight country undertones and is somewhat reminiscent of bands like The Sundays and Mazzy Star.
