Robin Hood
Russell Crowe once again joins the cast of a Ridley Scott film…this time he’s Robin Longstride, or Robin of the Hood, as he comes to be known. This is the fifth movie that Crowe and Scott have done together and it’s a little more than just stylistically similar to their most successful team-up, Gladiator.

Clash of the Titans (2010)
Clash of the Titans is a remake of the 1981 film of the same name. It’s been decades since I’ve seen that film, but I remember it fondly and – even though the effects probably look extremely dated by current standards – I’m sure it would still hold up.

Alice in Wonderland
At first glance, Tim Burton (the director of Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Big Fish and The Nightmare Before Christmas, among others) seems like a perfect choice to deliver a unique version of the familiar tale with the proper amount of visual spectacle, ingenuity and darkness.

I had hoped the trend that was started with Casino Royale would continue with Quantum of Solace, but, unfortunately, the film bounces around from location to location without any real explanation, and Bond seems to accidentally show up just in time for the next action scene.

Casino Royale
When Daniel Craig was picked as the newest Bond I didn’t really care because the previous several films in the series were terrible (how can you mess up something that already sucks?) and Layer Cake (which undoubtedly must have been the reason Craig was hired) was actually a pretty good film.
